Copper Leaf Farm & Vineyard: A Legacy Reborn

Our journey is deeply rooted in four generations of family history on the surrounding farmland, now being transformed into a vineyard that celebrates both tradition and innovation.

Anita grew up working the land and developing a love for the earth. Every inch of this farm holds a piece of her childhood, her memories of hard work, and the deep connection to carefully caring for both family and farm. It’s the soil beneath her feet that has always connected her to the land, and now, it’s that same land she’s nurturing as it evolves into something new—an expression of both the past, and the future.

With a deep love for the culinary arts, her husband, Dave, is dedicated to crafting memorable experiences that merge fine food with exceptional wine and craft beer. Dave, a self-taught chef has a passion for food that is as deep-rooted as Anita’s connection to the farm. His culinary expertise complements the farm’s bounty, with every dish crafted from the freshest ingredients grown just steps away. Together, our goal is to create experiences where food and wine tell a story of love and tradition.

Whether you’re gathering with family, friends, or fellow wine and craft beer lovers, we want our vineyard to be a place where love, laughter, and connection flow as freely as the wine in your glass, and special moments are created with the ones you love, and those who love you!

Our Estate

Tucked away on Lowder Road in the heart of Cabarrus County, NC, where generations of our family once farmed the land, our new farm and vineyard honors that heritage. Just an hour from Charlotte and Greensboro, Copper Leaf Farm and Vineyard offers a peaceful retreat, rooted in our farming tradition and surrounded by the gently rolling countryside.

Our 50-acre estate is poised for an exciting transformation into a fully functioning farm and vineyard, rooted in sustainability and family values. While we currently source grapes from partner vineyards to craft our wines, we are gradually shifting toward growing our own on-site, with 8–10 acres dedicated to vineyard expansion. We planted our first variety, Concord, in early 2025. Just recently we planted Cabernet. In addition to cultivating our own grapes, we plan to enrich the land with a diverse array of crops and fruit. Every inch of this land will reflect our commitment to quality, care, and community.

Feed Forward – Community Giving

“Feed Forward” is a community-driven initiative launched by Copper Leaf Farm & Vineyard, aimed at supporting families in need through the power of a warm, homemade meal. The concept is simple: each month, we invite the community to submit brief writeups nominating a family who could benefit from a meal prepared with care and compassion. These submissions should describe the family’s immediate need and why a meal would provide comfort during a difficult time. Whether it’s due to illness, financial hardship, or personal challenges, the goal of Feed Forward is to offer more than just nourishment – it’s about fostering connection, lifting spirits, and showing the strength of community support. Copper Leaf Farm & Vineyard is honored to be part of this effort, providing a delicious, thoughtful meal that reminds families they are seen and cared for.
